Computer time. It reduces the number of iterations you have to do. Studies have shown that companies invest in software simulation spend less on research and have shorter time on the market, either jumbo jets, cars, or golf balls.

    He did not mention backspin.

it works with any theory of fluid dynamics, because if it works for Newtonian fluids like water. While there, they should use this design of ships and submarines.

Could you make a model to assess the effect of golf ball on a car as seen in Mythbusters? I think the dimpled golf ball should be placed in strategic locations. Refer to the vortex generator jet fighter for a preview. The idea is to improve energy efficiency.

I do not know what is currently less costly, hours of super computer time or drilling holes in a ball and knock.

Was there a bullet or rocket made with this idea? I know that swimming and running charges were made.

It helps manufacturers of golf balls to learn more about atmospheric drag on golf balls, allowing them to create better quality balls, you can feel longer. . . . . is how

You raison.C is funny, I do not even remember posting this vid, or watch this question. Must have been a night of crap hehe

if you listen to the beginning of the video, it shows that they already knew, but allows the computer to visualize and quantify the effect that the dimples have. If they can not quantify it, they can improve the depth, size and number of dimples are the best on a golf ball to go farther. When Daimler designed the gasoline engine at first in the late 1800s, he did this without a computer, but look at what computers have done to the engine fuel today. . .
